Deanna K. Serna 67, of Spring Hill, passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 at HPH Hospice Care Center. She was a resident of this area for the past 26 years coming from her native Port Huron, Michigan. Deanna worked as a nurse for HPH Hospice Care Center and was a member of Northcliffe Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Leonardo "Larry" Serna; daughter, Patti (Robert) Houston of Spring Hill, FL; son, Robert (Jill) Hand of Port Huron, MI; sister, Jody Demarau of The Villages, FL; and one granddaughter, Emily Hand.

Friends may call at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, Mariner Boulevard, on Saturday, August 4, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:30 pm pm, following with Funeral Services with Pastor Jerry Waugh officiating. Interment will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, 10:00 am, Monday, August 6, 2012.
