Thomas F. Burns, Jr., 91, of Spring Hill, FL, passed away on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at HPH Hospice Care Center. He was a native of Berlin, New Hampshire and a resident of this area for over eight years coming from Tahoe City, CA. He retired as chief petty officer for the U.S. Navy after serving 23 years. Thomas was a member of the Sub Vets, Spring Hill, Seabees, and a member of the Holland Club.

He is survived by his loving wife, Betty; two sons, two daughters, one stepson, one brother, one stepbrother, many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Mr. Burns was preceded in death by one daughter.
