Efrain Rodriguez

July 2, 1937 — August 27, 2021

As our father knew how to say, on July 2, 1937, a little boy named Efraincito was born in Girardot. He liked to advertise a month before the date so that no one will forget his birthdays. Efraín's life is quite long and a bit difficult to summarize in a few words. Having emigrated in the 1960s, he came to New York to work in the bank, had taxis, sold everything and came to Florida to try his luck. He bought a canmion and all the truck drivers called him Chicho because the truck was quite rusty and when he was going down the expressway the truck looked like he wanted to fly. His best friends ... the Palillos, Marcelino and others, but he liked to find their tongues and when he saw them caught he would go out and say goodbye to him. Efrain liked to play the lotto. He was always looking for new ways to play. Then he would go out and have to play in different places. He said that small companies were not given the big prizes. Another anecdote that he had, was when he rained he had to go out to get water because he said that not enough water fell. So we brought him the current and we called him and told him that he had to pour water because it was raining. On August 27 around 6 or 7 in the morning he fell asleep and did not wake up again. But he lived his life as he wanted it ... Fisherman haci he will not weigh anything but there he was all day. He left a very beautiful family who loved him and showed him their unconditional love. His wife Marina, daughters Sandra and Maribel.
