In Loving Memory of Cathy Mulholland

Cathy Mulholland, 79, passed away on October 19, 2026, surrounded by her loving family in Spring Hill, Florida.

Cathy was born on January 12, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Edwin and Shirley Eager. She grew up as an Air Force military brat before attending Webber University. She spent her life building lasting memories centered around family, hard work, and the things she loved most.

Before moving to Florida in 2000, Cathy spent more than 20 years working for a market research company in Atlanta, Georgia. She later retired from Pasco County and embraced retirement with enthusiasm, finding new ways to enjoy her time and pursue her interests.

Cathy had a special love for animals, especially cats, and started a cat-sitting business in retirement, combining her love of cats with her enjoyment of caring for them. She also enjoyed painting and had a passion for travel and adventure.

Cathy and her beloved husband, David, shared a love of cruising and traveling the world together. Their adventures took them to destinations around the globe, creating treasured memories throughout their years together. After David's passing on February 25, 2025, Cathy continued to cherish the special memories of their life and travels together.

Cathy also shared a special bond with her beloved sister, Marjorie Reilly. The two enjoyed traveling together on their own adventures, creating lasting memories and sharing experiences that strengthened their lifelong sisterly connection.

Above all, Cathy cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister whose family was at the center of her world. Her grandchildren, Jenna and Spencer, lovingly called her “Mima,” a special name that will forever be associated with the love, warmth, and memories they shared.

Cathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David Mulholland.

She is survived by her son, Ron Mulholland, and his wife, Kim; her cherished grandchildren, Jenna and Spencer; her beloved sister, Marjorie Reilly; her niece, Melissa Reilly; and her nephew, Mark Reilly.

Cathy will be remembered for her deep love of family, her compassion for animals, her creative spirit, and her adventurous heart. Whether traveling the world and exploring new places, painting, caring for cats, or spending precious time with her family, Cathy embraced the people and experiences that brought her happiness.

Though she will be deeply missed, the love Cathy gave and the memories she created will live on in the hearts of her family forever. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever our Mima.
