D. Bruce Cloughly, 85, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2015 at the Hernando-Pasco Hospice Care Center, FL. He was raised in Westfield, NJ and raised his children there too. He was a graduate of the University of Rochester and received his MBA from Syracuse University. He was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean War, a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Spring Hill and a resident of Timber Pines. He relocated to the Spring Hill area over 21 years ago after retiring from his work as a computer systems analyst in the telephone industry. He enjoyed his family, recreational “military” golf, reading, bridge, Sudoku, and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Sarah "Sally"; his children, Kathryn Cloughly and David Cloughly; their spouses Brian Mawby and Cheryl Cloughly; grandchildren: Kyle and Taylor Edwards; great-grandchild Kyleigh Edwards; sister Nancy Stuart; beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
There will be a Memorial Service on Friday, June 5, at 11 AM at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Spring Hill. He will be buried later in Plymouth MA. Donations may be made in Bruce’s name to either the church or HPH Hospice.
