MERDAN, DAVID M., A memorial service will be held for David on Monday, December 18, at 11:00AM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Florida. He was born and grew up in St. Cloud, Minnesota. He served twenty years with the USAF and eighteen years with the US Postal Service in Florida and Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Bernie Merdan of St. Cloud, Minnesota. He is survived by his wife, Donna (Wooten) Merdan, of Anchorage, Alaska, two daughters, Ashley Merdan of Anchorage, Leigh Ann Dixon, of Spring Hill, Florida, five grandchildren, Drew and Erica Dixon, Tyler and Julie Webber and Grace Merdan; two brothers Fran Merdan, of Tucson, Arizona, Bill Merdan, of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, one sister, Diane Lumley of St. Cloud, Minnesota, and numerous nieces and nephews.
