Denise Kay Olson

On July 3 2023, Denise Olson , daughter of Dale and Arletta Raymer quietly passed away at home. Denise had three wonderful children: Gary, Sarah and Maggie who she devoted her life to.  Denise loved spending time with her children traveling, going to concerts with her daughters, and baseball games with her son as she was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves. She also loves spending time at the beaches while living in Wilmington, North Carolina, and most recently Brooksville, Florida. Denise was a loving daughter and sister, and devoted mother.

Denise is survived by her son, Gary Olson (Jessa) of Peoria, Illinois; daughters Sarah & Maggie Olson of Brooksville, Florida; Mother Arletta Raymer of Panora, Iowa; sisters: Debbie Raymer of Des Moines, Iowa; Diane (Jeff ) Beckman of Panora, Iowa; Kathy Raymer of Panora, Iowa; and Karen Hoffman of Bayard, Iowa; sister-in-law Christine Moran and former husband Dean Olson, and grandpuppies Bronx, Heisman and Gnash.

Denise is preceded in death by her father, Dale Raymer; nephew Jake Moran; mother-in-law Jeanette Olson; and father-in-law Mac Olson.

Denise will be truly missed. There are no services planned at this time. A celebration of life will occur in Iowa with details to be determined.
