Desiree Dawn Morrice

Desiree Dawn Morrice, 52, of Spring Hill, passed away on March 14, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 7, 1973 in Illinois to Richard and Doris Morrice.

Desiree was the best kind of unique person - a tinkerer, a builder, and a “do-everything-er.” She was known for her eagle-eyes and super-sonic hearing. She enjoyed her family, her garden, decorating for Halloween, volunteering at the local botanical garden, taking care of animals, and helping anyone who needed it. She was an advocate for animals of all kinds and was especially fond of butterflies, cats, and dogs. She was a one-woman army and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother Doris, brother Shaun, sisters Rebecca and Danielle, nieces Madison and Pepper, brother-in-law Shaun, as well as close friends and fur-babies.
