Diane Marie Isbell

Sep 22, 1951 — Jun 26, 2026

Brooksville

With profound sadness, we announce that Diane Isbell entered into eternal rest on June 26, 2026, at the age of 74. Born on September 22, 1951, in Wyandotte, Michigan, to William and Doris Platt, Diane lived a life defined by kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and community.

Diane dedicated many years to serving her community as a school bus driver, but above all, she was known for the love she gave to her family. She was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, caring sister, aunt, and friend. She never missed a birthday and was known for her beautiful, thoughtful handmade cards that made everyone feel loved and remembered. She also had a special love for animals and found great joy in caring for them.

Diane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leon “Pete” Isbell; her parents, William and Doris Platt; and her brothers, Donald Platt, Billy Platt, and John Platt.

She is survived by her sons, Randy Isbell and Michael Isbell; her stepson, Dale Isbell (Joanne); Tiffany Mullin, the mother of her granddaughters, who remained a cherished part of her family; her granddaughters, Ryleigh Isbell and Hailee Isbell; William, Lincoln, and London Mullin, whom she loved as her own grandchildren; her sisters, Verda Campbell (Steve), Wilma Naylor (Kevin), Mable Shaffer, and Nancy Platt (Norman); and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who became family.

Diane’s kindness, generosity, and unconditional love touched countless lives. Her gentle spirit, thoughtful heart, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will never be forgotten. Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and she will be deeply missed every day.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a local animal shelter in Diane’s memory.
