Doris E. Schmidt, age 88, of Spring Hill, FL, formerly of East Grand Rapids, MI, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wilfred O. (Bill) Schmidt and by her family: Elaine (Steve) Babcock of Charlotte, NC (Brian, Claire, and Grace), Rob (Jeanne) Schmidt of Carlsbad, CA, Diane (Joseph) Barta of Spring Hill, FL (John, Kevin, and Katie), and Jeanne (Don) Snide of Kentwood, MI. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 12, 2013, at 11:00am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice (www.HPH-Hospice.org)
