Edgar Kjell Steindal

STEINDAL, EDGAR K, 84, of Spring Hill, passed September 1, 2018. A native of Ballangen, Norway, Mr. Steindal has been a resident of this area for over 30 years. Prior to his relocating to Spring Hill, he lived in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He served as an aircraft mechanic in the Norwegian Air Force, an ally of the United States. He was a member of the Sons of Norway and enjoyed anything to do with Norwegian Culture. Mr. Steindal attended First United Methodist Church of Spring Hill. He is survived by his daughters: Yvonne Steindal and her husband Craig Lewis, and Vivian Steindal and her partner Adan Higgins; his son Kenneth Steindal; his sister Gunni Fagerbakk; and his granddaughter Tempest Steindal. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy, of 52 years. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, September 8 at 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church of Spring Hill.
