Ekaterini "Cathy" Sioufas, age 86, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family, leaving behind a legacy of boundless, unconditional love that will forever bloom in the hearts of those she cherished.
Born in Greece as one of six sisters, Ekaterini brought the warmth, strength, and vibrant spirit of her homeland into everything she did. She was the beloved wife of Hristoforos Sioufas, with whom she built a life rooted in faith and family, and the devoted mother to her daughter, Vasiliki Klonaridis. Mother in law to Georgios Klonaridis. Grandmother to Dimitrios Klonaridis, Ekaterini Klonaridis, and Anna Klonaridis. Great-grandmother to Christopher Ladouceur and Georgios Albarella. Ekaterini defined what it meant to love without limits. Her family was her greatest pride, and she poured her heart into nurturing them just as she did her beautiful garden. She had a deep unwavering love for God. Her faith was an important part of her life. She carried that love in her heart and shared it through the kindness, generosity, and compassion she showed others. Whether Ekaterini, was tending to her flowers, enjoying her favorite sweet desserts, or watching the Greek channel. She found joy in life’s most simple, and beautiful pleasures. Her legacy of grace, devotion, and unconditional love will be deeply missed but never forgotten. We find comfort and peace knowing she is with the love of her life again.
