Florence Nevart Fargnoli

1961 — July 7, 2020

Nevart is survived by her husband Joseph Fargnoli; children, Ben Sargent and his wife Heather, Cassandra Hill and her husband Nicholas, Kevin Twohig, Patrick Twohig and his wife Jennifer; Joe’s children, Joseph Fargnoli II and his wife Tori, Jessica Ribiero and her husband Marcel; siblings, Kathi Else and Karen Henning; niece Sonia, nephew Greg and their father Tom Petersen; grandchildren, Corbin, Connor, Cayden, Emma, Julia, and Liam; first husband John Sargent, and many dear friends. Nevart was born on August 3, 1961 in Springfield, MA to Arthur and Effie Horhorouny (née Easton). She attended Ellington High School where she volunteered with the Ellington Rescue Post and was the youngest EMT at age 16. Nevart’s favorite jobs were driving a school bus so she could have her children with her, working at Harvest Beads and Silver, and working as a dispatcher for Sonitrol through which she met her husband Joe. Leaving home at a young age, Nevart charged into her world with courage and curiosity to fulfill her dreams. She was compassionate to a fault and loved those around her, children, and animals. Always proud of her Scottish and Armenian heritage, she made sure to pass this legacy down to her children. She was incredibly proud of all of her children and enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow. Her generous nature and fantastic sense of humor meant everyone that met her was a friend. She shared her love of reading, art, and music throughout her life. John Denver, Loreena McKennitt, and The Beatles were her favorites. She could enjoy music with a crowd of people at a concert, or just sitting by herself involved in her own dreams. An accomplished, self-taught crafter, Nevart created and shared her beautiful cross-stitch and beadwork designs with all who knew her. Her love of animals led her to take in strays and she always wanted to ride horses. One of her final wishes was to ride, which she was able to accomplish through the generosity of Casey’s Healing Hooves. Nevart led her life with a formidable sense of self-reliance and a love of mini-cream puffs and mini-eclairs. At Nevart’s request, a private service will be held at a later date. The family would like to express our thanks and gratitude to Bonnie Culbertson and Erin Cowley of HPH Hospice, a Chapters Health Affiliate on Cortez Blvd. in Spring Hill, Florida, for their expertise, thoughtfulness, kindness, professionalism, dedication, compassion, and friendship. You both did so much to ease our load, with your healing touch for both body and soul, and to brighten Nevart’s days.
