Gaylord Volzer

VOLZER, GAYLORD F. “MOE”, 87, passed away on September 9, 2016. He was born in Rochester, NY, the son of Theodore and Mildred (Frasure) Volzer. He was an Army veteran and retired design engineer for Eastman Kodak Company. He was a member and President of the Gennessee Valley Land Surveyors Association and a professional baseball player for the Cleveland Indians. Moe is survived by his loving wife, Thelma; son, Bill, and his wife, Mary Volzer; daughter, Maureen, and her husband, Gary Vogler; three grandchildren, Michelle, and her husband, Ben Walton, Mitchell Vogler, Michael Volzer; one great granddaughter, Payton Mae Walton; and several nieces. Visitation is Monday, September 19, from 3-6PM at the funeral home. A funeral service will follow on Tuesday, 10AM September 20 at Grace Presbyterian Church. Interment Florida National Cemetery with military honors. The family suggests donations may be made to Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
