Harold E. Gibson

Harold E. Gibson, 75, was born in Harlan County, Kentucky. He later moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, and eventually to Florida, where he passed away on September 3, 2026.

Harold worked at B.F. Goodrich and Fort Wayne Anodizing before relocating to Florida, where he managed Nations Fence in Largo. During his years in Fort Wayne, he was an active member of the Southwest Conservation Club and especially enjoyed spending time with close friends during their many fish fries.

Harold is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia “Patti” Gibson; his son, Mike Gibson; and his siblings Ronnie, Vernon, Jim, Buddy, Jack, Shirley, Edith, and Della.

He is survived by his daughter, Lori Banet, and son in law, John Banet; his son, Jason Gibson, and daughter in law, Dawn Gibson; and his siblings Alma and Gary. Harold also leaves behind six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Covington Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on November 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
