Heidemarie Acton

Heidemarie Acton, 81, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on August 20, 2026. Born in Erfurt, Germany, on February 26, 1945, to the late Nicklaus and Margarete (née Hartman) Kohlhaas, Heidemarie was a woman of remarkable strength. She immigrated to America with her husband, Kenneth, and their two young children, driven by a fierce determination to build a new life. She successfully navigated the challenges of adapting to a new country, including mastering a second language, while remaining devoted to her family. A woman of Catholic faith, she found great joy in the simple pleasures of gardening, crocheting, and, above all, the time spent with those she loved.

Heidemarie's memory is cherished by her husband of 61 years, Kenneth; her two daughters, Patricia Goolsby (Rick) and Monika Acton; her grandson, Zachary Johnson (Sheree); and her great-grandson, August Johnson. She is also survived by her cousins: Uwe, Nicko, and Moritz Bamberg.

Private cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Pinecrest Funeral Chapel in Spring Hill, FL.
