Horace Bonds

BONDS, HORACE, 88, Spring Hill, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Spring Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center in Brooksville, Florida. He was born in Atlanta, GA to Homer and Effie Bonds, on March 4, 1927. He served in the armed forces, was a Mason, and retired from the U.S. Postal Service and moved to Spring Hill, FL from St. Albany, New York. He is preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 66 years, Lillie Bonds. He leaves to mourn his passing, a loving daughter and son-in-law, Evelyn (Ronald) Hutchison; two grandsons and two great grandsons; three nephews, Robert Richardson, Donald (Jonelle) Richardson, Paul Richardson; four nieces, Evelyn Beaty, Gloria (Robert) Miller, Betty Hinesman and Sandra (William) Lewis. A host of great nephews and nieces; great-great nephews and nieces, other relatives and close family friends: Jon Golden, Patt Mihailoff and Janet Mitchell. Visitation will be held at First United Methodist Church on Friday, May 15 9:30-10:30, located at 9344 Spring Hill Drive, with a funeral service at 10:30AM, conducted by Reverend Bill Owens. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
