PAYNE, JAMES DOYLE 72, of Spring Hill, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014. He was born in Anderson, SC, the son of Ralph and Ella (Bowman) Payne. He was a US Air Force veteran and retired from the Air Force as an aircraft technician.
James is survived by his loving wife, Anne (Gathercole) Payne, son, Greg Payne, daughter, Natalie Helbert, and two stepdaughters, Heidi Thompson and Trudy Newbould.
A memorial service will be conducted at Mariner United Methodist Church on Sunday, August 10, 2014, 1:00PM with Pastor Arlinda Burks and Reverend Eugene Setchel officiating.
