John Thomas Benhoff

John T. Benhoff November 24, 1947 - August 13, 2020 "You can't always get what you want. But if you try sometimes, you just might find you get what you need" -Rolling Stones John T. Benhoff, 72 went home on August 13, 2020. He was born November 24, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, to Clarence and Mary Benhoff. He served as an aircraft mechanic for the U.S. Army, and spoke fondly of the time he spent in Panama. He is survived by "his girls": wife Mary; daughters Tina(Eric) and Tammy: son Brian; grandchildren Devin, Breanna, Damon, Nevaeh, and Brooklyn; his puppy dog Moon; and many other family members and friends. John felt blessed that he and Mary were able to retire and live in Florida the last five years. He enjoyed every bit of it. We will always miss him, his wit, his laugh, and his knack for finding great deals. There are plans for a celebration of life in Missouri at a later date.
