“Well done, good and faithful servant.”

Matthew 25:23

John Joseph Nichuals, 80, of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of his daughter, Allison.

Born in Danbury, Connecticut, John lived a life marked by service, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family. He proudly served with the New York City Police Department before retiring and later making his home in Bangor, Maine, and eventually Spring Hill, Florida.

He shared fifty wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Paula. Together they built a home filled with love, faith, laughter, and lasting memories. John found his greatest joy in caring for those he loved and took immense pride in providing for his family.

John will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, cherished brother, uncle, and faithful friend. His quiet strength, generous heart, and steadfast character leave a legacy that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

He is survived by his children John Nichuals Jr., Joseph Nichuals, Debbie Liberty, Jennifer Brennan, Elizabeth Nichuals, and Allison Nichuals; his stepchildren John Georges Jr., Barbara D'Ornellas, and Brigitte Alicea; along with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Paula Nichuals, and his son, Richard Nichuals.

May God's eternal light shine upon him, and may he rest forever in the peace of Christ.
