Juana López, born on May 7, 1938, in Humacao, Puerto Rico, entered into eternal rest surrounded by the love of her family on July 13, 2026. In her early years, she moved to Jersey City, New Jersey, where she married the love of her life, Israel López. Together they raised three sons — Israel Jr., Raymond, and Jorge — and built a home rooted in faith, service, and devotion.
A faithful member of the First Pentecostal Church of God in Jersey City, Juana lived out her calling as a servant of Christ with unwavering commitment. For decades, she ministered to the sick and the needy at the Medical Center Hospital of Jersey City, offering prayers, comfort, and healing to countless lives. Her compassion was not a momentary act — it was her way of life.
In her later years, Juana moved to Florida, where she became part of Iglesia Corona De Vida. She cherished her pastors, Hector and Noemí Rivera, and continued to serve God with the same fervent spirit that defined her entire journey.
Juana was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Israel López. She is survived by her three sons, her grandchildren, great‑grandchildren, and great‑great‑grandchildren — a beautiful legacy that reflects the strength of her love and the depth of her faith.
To all who knew her, Juana was a true prayer warrior — a giant in her faith. She embodied the essence of the virtuous woman described in Proverbs 31, where it declares, “but a woman who fears the Lord will be greatly praised… Let her deeds publicly declare her praise.” Her life was her testimony, and her deeds continue to speak.
Juana López leaves behind a legacy of faith, compassion, and service. Her family and all who were touched by her ministry will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
