Judith Anne Dobkowski

August 28, 1944 — December 18, 2025

Judith Anne Dobkowski, 81, went home to be with our Heavenly Father on December 18, 2025. She was born on August 28, 1944, in Syracuse, New York, to Antonio and Louise Camuso Sciacca. Judy attended Liverpool High School, where she met the love of her life, Leonard Dobkowski. Married for 59 years, Judy epitomized a loving and devoted wife and mother. Together, they raised three beautiful children - David, Susan, and Michael - and motherhood and grand motherhood were the greatest joys of her life.

Judy lived happily in Syracuse, Glens Falls and Clifton Park, New York as well as in Florida. She was a homemaker, part-time hairdresser, and caregiver. Her life and home were always centered on God and family. A lifelong Catholic, Judy taught Religious Education and Conformation Classes, participated in Marriage Encounter, started prayer groups, faithfully prayed the rosary and up until the week of her passing, visited Nursing Homes, giving communion to the elderly and the homebound.

Her Italian heritage followed her wherever she went. Judy was full of life - outgoing, kind and loving. To meet Judy once was to know her. "How can I help you ?" was her daily calling, no matter who you were or where you met her. She was vibrant, affectionate and full of charisma. Her life was a testimony to God's love and Goodness. We take comfort in knowing that one day we will be reunited with her, along with all the angels and saints in heaven.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Louise, and her beloved brother Tony Sciacca. She is survived by her devoted husband, Len; her children David (Lisa), Susan and Michael (Felicia); her grandchildren; Joseph, Maria, Anna, Jonah, Julia, Anthony, Gianna, Tessa and Vivie; her "sis" Charline Sciacca; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends whom she lovingly embraced as family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy's memory may be made to the Padre Pio Foundation of America and the Pan Foundation. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Memorial Mass at St. Frances Cabrini Church in Spring Hill, Florida on Saturday, January 24, at 11:30 a.m. Burial services will take place at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Baldwinsville, New York, in June 2026, with details forthcoming.
