Kerry Lamar Fisher was born on August 28, 1961, in Asheville, North Carolina, to the late Annie Lee Fisher and Chalmus Fisher. As the beloved baby of the family, Kerry grew up alongside his older siblings, Kenneth Travis (deceased), Gosier Travis Jr. (deceased), Tommy Fisher (deceased), Denise Fisher and Tim Fisher. Together, they formed bonds that would shape his lie and create countless stories, cherished memories, and lasting love.
Kerry was raised and educated in Red Bank, New Jersey. He enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a copier repair technician with Xerox, including many years working at Guantanamo Bay Cuba. It was there that he met and fell in love with his devoted wife of 18 years, Audrey Edwards. They married and built a life together in Spring Hill, Florida, where they remained until his passing on September 26, 2026.
Kerry cherished his family deeply. He leaves to mourn his passing, his five children: Tia Fairley, Kerry L. Fisher Jr., Rasheedah Fisher, Finesse Wainwright, and Kassim Fisher; fourteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Kerry affectionately known as "Cool Breeze," will forever be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, his love of sports, and his ability to make friends wherever he went. He truly never met a stranger. His warm personality, laughter, and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who had the blessing of knowing him.
Kerry's spirit will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know and love him. Though he is deeply missed, the memories he created and the love he shared will remain forever.
