Mary Ann Dufresne

Dufresne, Mary Ann, 71, of Weeki Wachee, Florida passed on August 20, 2014 at the HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, Florida. A native of Watertown, New York, she moved to Florida many years ago after retiring from the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, MD, where she was a Project Manager. She was an avid Bridge player who also enjoyed teaching the game to others, and serving as a member and past secretary of the Nature Coast Bridge Club. Mary Ann was also involved in writing books about the game of Bridge. She received the Best Book of the Year award from the American Bridge Teacher's Association for Bridge with Bells and Whistles, a book she co-wrote with Marion Ellingsen. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and fellow Bridge Club members. Mary Ann is survived by her sisters: Jo Ann Carman and Suzanne Dufresne, Nephews: Jason Dufresne and Michael Carman, niece: Kathleen Carman, and friends and members of the Bridge Club.
