Michael C Howard

Mike “1/2 breed” Michael C. Howard, 73, of Gladin, Kentucky, passed away on November 8, 2023, in Spring Hill, FL. He was born on January 30, 1950. Mike, known by his preferred name, was a strong-willed and opinionated individual who was also faithful, ornery, and reliable.

 

Mike is survived by his beloved wife Mickey (Madeline) Contegiacomo, his son Darrell Hughes, his daughter Michelle Bonczek and her husband Joseph Bonczek, his son Anthony Contegiacomo and his wife Miranda Contegiacomo, his daughter Karen Ozyjowski, his daughter Brooklyn Howard, his son Eli Howard, 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 5 sister-in-laws, and 3 brother-in-laws. He was preceded in death by his parents Gil Hayward and Marti Hayward, and his sister Toni Sonnega.

 

Mike proudly served in the United States Marines in Vietnam from 1968 to 1971. He was an honorable member of the military association.

 

In his professional life, Mike worked as an Aluminum Contactor, dedicating his time and skills to his career.

 

Outside of work, Mike enjoyed hunting and cock fighting indulging in his favorite hobby.

 

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Pinecrest in Spring Hill, FL.
