Patricia Bednarz

BEDNARZ, PATRICIA, 77, Brooksville, Florida passed on Friday, December 27, 2013. Pat was born and raised in Garfield, NJ to John and Irene Micklus. She lived in Bergen County, NJ until 1989. It was then that she and her husband Edward moved to Ocean County, NJ. Upon retirement as a legal secretary, Pat and Ed enjoyed golfing vacations, US travel, and snowbird winters to the southeast. In 2003 they became permanent Florida residents and settled in Brookridge. Pat and Ed were blessed to enjoy 24 years of retirement together. Pat enjoyed crafting, cooking, playing the piano and organ, boating and fishing. She enjoyed attending the shows in Brookridge and until recently, due to her prolonged illness, the social dances. She was also a past member of the Ladies of the Moose and Brookridge Golf and Country Club. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Edward, two sisters, Nancy and Denise, and a niece and several nephews. Also two loving brothers-in-law, Leo and Bill and a sister-in-law, Joan and many friends. Friends may call on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 2-4 PM at Pinecrest Funeral Chapel. A service celebrating her life will follow on the same day at 4 PM.
