Phyllis Ottoson, 82, of Spring Hill, FL, died April 11, 2023, with her family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Some of her happiest moments were during family vacations to Hilton Head and group travel excursions with her husband of 61 years, Larry Ottoson.
Phyllis was born December 31, 1940, in Erie, PA, to Madalin and Rex Wright. She graduated from Academy High School, and her hobbies and interests included family, traveling, sewing, baking, reading, collecting teddy bears, and decorating for Christmas.
She is survived by her husband, Larry, her three children, Heidi Francis, Cindy Velotta and her husband Chris, and Kevin Ottoson and his wife Connie, and her six grandchildren, Jessica and Ryan Francis, Matthew and Michael Velotta, Kellsie Kammeier and her husband Jonathan, and Kara Ottoson.
