RAFAEL SERRANO-TORRES

SERRANO-TORRES, RAFAEL, 84, Weeki Wachee, died October 15, 2012 at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville. He was a native of Salinas, Puerto Rico and a resident of this area since 1987, coming from New York City, New York. He was a retired New York City police officer, retired US Army veteran; member of Fraternal Order of Police, 1013 Club, DAV and St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Rafael is survived by his wife of 58 years, Aida; four children, Ralph, and his wife Sandra Serrano, Coram, NY, Gloria Neri, Las Vegas, NV, Mildren Serrano, and her husband, Jose Otero, Weeki Wachee, Juan Carlos Serrano, Las Vegas; 4 grandchildren, and his great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be conducted on Friday, October 19, 2012, 9:30AM at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Mariner Boulevard, Spring Hill. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
