Raymond Wilbur Gordon

Raymond Wilbur Gordon, passed away peacefully at Sturgill Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, FL, on April 6, 2026. Raymond was born May 4, 1948 in Newark, New Jersey to Wilbur Raymond and Theresa Helen (Wolf) Gordon.

Raymond served honorably in the United States Navy, stationed mostly out of Maryland & Virginia. He earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Meritorious Unit Commendation while on the USS Independence (CVA62) and the Good Conduct Certificate (First) for period ending March 17, 1972.

Raymond married Terry (Arbogast) on September 19, 1981, and upon retirement in 1997, Terry and Ray moved to Spring Hill, Florida where they lived until her passing April 19, 2018.

The interment of Raymond and Terry’s ashes in the columbarium will be done together at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida at a later date.
