RICHARD STARR LAWSON SR.

Richard Starr Lawson, Sr., 91, died Saturday, 1 /31/ 2015 at HPH Hospice in Brooksville, FL. He was born 1/26/1924 in Toledo, Ohio to Goldie and Leland Lawson. Dick graduated from Libbey High School and attended The University of Toledo after WW II. He was a proud Army Sergeant who fought with the 97th Division, 386th Infantry Regiment, Company M earning a Bronze Star for heroic action. After selling insurance for 30 years he retired to Spring Hill. He is survived by his son, Rick, Jr. (Joni), daughter, Barbara (Dick), grandchildren, Blake (Melanie), Zachary (Nellie), Kerri and BJ. He is also survived by three great, great grandchildren, Maisie, Sammie and Pierce. Memorial services will be conducted Thursday, February 12, 10:30 AM at Grace Presbyterian Church, 8375 Spring Hill Drive, Spring Hill, Florida.
