Richard T O'Connell

Richard T. O’Connell was born March 14, 1947 and passed away peacefully the morning of January 1, 2022. His wife Joann was with him when he left this world. Due to the current Covid pandemic there was no service held. At his request, he is being cremated and his ashes given to his wife and children. Richie was born at Southside hospital in Bay Shore, Long Island, New York and lived on Long Island most of his life until after his retirement when he and his wife Joann Greco moved to Spring Hill, Florida in January 2003. He is survived by his wife Joann and his 3 children, Richie Jr, Tommy and Gina. He also has 3 grandchildren, Anthony, Dominic and Olivia. He also has two sisters, Patricia and Kelly and a brother Tommy who passed away in 2013. Richie was a hard worker and a good man, he loved his family and lived his life the way he wanted. He really loved riding his motorcycles. Richie and Joann were married October 12, 1991 and recently celebrated their 30th anniversary. He will be truly missed by his wife, his family and friends.
