Robert W. Glaser

Glaser, Robert W., Sr., 90, passed on February 7, 2015 at the HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, Florida. Mr. Glaser was born in Chicago, IL on September 29, 1924 to the late Charles and Olga (nee Paeth) Glaser. He was a resident of the Brookridge community for almost 30 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II and then worked as a truck driver and sales rep in the petroleum industry. Mr. Glaser was a recipient of a Purple Heart. He enjoyed fishing and playing cards, especially with other members of the Brookridge Card Club. Mr. Glaser is survived by his children: Robert W. (Karyn) Glaser, Jr., Nancy (John) Giannone, Charles (Lorrie) Glaser, and Cynthia Glaser; 10 Grandchildren: Jennifer, Julie, Jonathan, Alissa, Andrea, Matthew, Kelly, Michelle, Kate and Beth; and 8 Great-Grandchildren: Isabella, Gavin, Owen, Braden, Summer, Braelyn, Brogan and Luca. He was preceded in death by his wife Claire. A Celebration of Life and gathering will take palce at Brookridge Country Club on Wednesday, February 11, from noon to 2PM.
