Ronald T. Snyder (Ron), 77, Brooksville, FL, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 after a valiant battle with cancer. His devotion to his family and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace.
A native of Pittsburgh, Ron was a member of Spring Hill United Methodist Church, graduate of Thiel College and president and founder of FPI Industries, a company which he operated until his retirement.
Ron enjoyed playing Texas Hold ‘em, spending summers at his camp in Ohio, trout fishing, fly fishing, hunting and watching his Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved Model T Fords, music, tinkering in his shop and camping with his family. He will be remembered for his wisdom, kindness and his amazing ability to fix anything!
Ron was blessed with a large and loving family. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Paula; his seven children: Greg, Holly, Rob, Jim, Valerie, Karin and Ryan and his Shih Tzus, Chelsea and Bonnie. He is also survived by his brother, Bob, his mother-in-law, Lyla, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ron is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Cary.
A truly exceptional man, Ron will be dearly missed by his loved ones who are thankful he is now at peace with his Creator. A celebration of Ron’s life will be held in Pittsburgh at a later date.
