Spring Hill

Sharon Christy Kleinman (née Alderman), born November 15, 1950, at the US Naval Hospital, Santa Margarita Ranch in San Diego, California, passed away on October 16, 2026, in Spring Hill, Florida.

Sharon was an amazing woman who deeply loved God, her family, and animals. She turned her lifelong passion for animals into a career, working as a dedicated veterinary technician and holding a special love for horses. She attended Bible College in Miami, Florida, and had recently begun a Bible study in her home, driven by a strong desire to share her passion for Christ with others. While she didn’t have much, she generously shared whatever she had with anyone in need. Always smiling, Sharon possessed a wonderful sense of humor and could brighten up a room upon entering. She truly deserved so much more than this world could offer her.

Sharon is now reunited in heaven with her beloved daughter, Patricia Reeves; her loving parents, Clifton Alderman and Gloria Hickok; and her brother, Steven Alderman.

She is survived by her daughter, Sonya C. Duprez, and her husband, Tim; her son, Steven D. Reeves, and his wife, Misty; and her stepdaughter, Stephanie Reeves. She is also survived by her stepmother, Cecilia Villanueva; her sister, Lessie Mae Alderman; her brother, Ronald C. Alderman; her cherished grandchildren: Ashley, Lindsay, Tyler, Kendall, Thomas, Jayden, Allyson, Nasya, and Derrick Reeves; as well as her seven beautiful great-grandchildren: Daniel, Landon, Braedon, Sylas, Atreus, Freya, and Kieran.

A service to celebrate Sharon's life and faith will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Pinecrest Funeral Chapel, located at 3369 Mariner Boulevard, Spring Hill, FL 34609. Family and friends are warmly invited to gather, remember her bright smile, and honor her memory.

In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Sharon's lifelong love and care for animals, the family requests that donations be made to your local animal shelter.
