Susan M Salvatore

Susan Marie Salvatore (née Lamb), 81, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026, at Gulfside Hospice. Born on March 10, 1944, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Susan lived a life defined by passion, strength, laughter, and deep love for her family and friends. 

Raised in Minneapolis, Susan carried her Midwestern spirit with her throughout her life. In her later years, she split her time between Rochester, New York, and Hudson, Florida — embracing the beauty of each place and filling both homes with warmth and personality. 

Susan was a successful business owner of her own interior design company, where her creativity and eye for beauty left a lasting mark. Her true passion, however, was golf. An accomplished and competitive golfer, she brought the same determination and strength to the course that she brought to life. She loved being outdoors — whether on the green, by the water, or relaxing in her pool — always active, always moving, and always seeming younger than her years. 

She was strong-willed in the best way — independent, vibrant, and full of laughter. Susan had a magnetic energy about her and a spirit that refused to slow down. 

Susan also had a special place in her heart for animals, including her cherished cat adopted from a local animal shelter — a reflection of her compassionate nature. 

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Salvatore, and his wife, Evelyn; her grandchildren, Kaysie, Kari, and Kristopher; and her great-grandchild, Harper. She also leaves behind her dear friends Joan and Ellen, who treasured her friendship deeply. 

She was preceded in death by her brother, Wes Lamb. 

Susan’s life was one of beauty, strength, laughter, and motion. She will be remembered for her determination, her vibrant spirit, and the way she embraced life fully — from the golf course to the lake house dock to sunny Florida afternoons. 

Funeral services and a celebration of life will be held privately for family.
