Trinita Wentzel (Hetes), 82, of Spring Hill, Florida, was surrounded by angels and taken to her heavenly home on August 12, 2026.
Born at home in Steelton, PA, on June 14th, 1944 (Flag Day), she was Anna and Andrew P. Hetes Sr.'s youngest daughter.
She attended William Penn High School/Night School and HACC.
After retiring early from a successful 30 year career at The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, she relocated to Spring Hill, Florida for a permanent vacation.
She always loved to help others, whether it be helping them move, serving in numerous church callings, cleaning and organizing the church kitchen, making meals for others, taking time off work to give a ride to those in need, or giving a new outfit to a single mother. She enjoyed singing in the church choir, drawing and other crafts, she was an amazing cook, and an avid reader.
She was an awesome mother and became an Assistant Daisy Girl Scout leader with her daughter so that she could serve the Girl Scouts in Middletown, PA for two years. She even taught her daughter to dance and on a whim they entered and won a local dance contest.
Her favorite scripture was "With God all things are possible" and her favorite song was "How Great Thou Art".
She is preceded in death by her infant sister Sharon, Judith Little, brothers Gerard, Gilbert, Norbert, Kenneth, Daniel and Michael, and her infant son Richard.
She is survived by her daughter, Cassandra, who lovingly took care of her, especially the last 13 1/2 months when she was bedbound at home with the assistance of Hospice.
She will be missed by her brothers Ronald, Andrew and Mark, as well as her sister Rachael Bailor, her sister in-laws, and many nieces and nephews.
A private ceremony will be held at a later time at the convenience of her family.
She will be truly be missed and forever in our hearts.
