Wayne Russell Harris

Harris, Wayne Russell, 59, of Brooksville, passed on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Sturgill Hospice Care Center in Brooksville, FL. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Wayne has been a resident of this area for more than 40 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brooksville and a veteran of the United States Navy. Wayne is survived by his Son Jesse (Abby), Daughter Sarah (Emory) Strachan, Grandchildren: Amory, Emory Jr., Shaylee & Sydnee, Mother Wilma Landrith, Sister Lori (Jim) Spikes. and Brothers Randy (Pam) & Todd (Sheri). Wayne enjoyed cars, motorcycles (Yamahas), Guns, Knives, Tools, and history (especially military). Prior to working as an LPN, he was an EMT and a firefighter. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held at the First Baptist Church of Brooksville on Saturday, May 2 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to HPH Hospice care Center.
