William (Bill) Joseph Igyarto (75) of Spring Hill, Florida, passed away on Friday, March 24th, 2023, at Sturgill Hospice, Brooksville, Fl.
He was born on May 16, 1947, in Chicago, IL. After graduating from Lane Technical High School, he proudly served in the United States Air Force and then went on to build a successful 40-year career as a remodeling contractor.
In 1971, Bill married Linda and had two sons, Scott Robert Igyarto and James Joseph Igyarto. They lived in Streamwood IL and later Algonquin IL. After retiring in 2015, Bill and Linda moved to Spring Hill, Florida.
Bill was known for his wonderful Hungarian greasy bread, enjoyed boating and fishing, and in later years reading and wood carving. To many he was “Uncle Bill”, warm, friendly, caring, and with a wonderful sense of humor and an ‘always willing to lend a hand’ attitude.
He was predeceased by his father Joseph Igyarto, Jr., his mother Rose Igyarto, and son Jim Igyarto. Bill is survived by his wife Linda and son Scott, daughter in law Sharon, granddaughter Coral and brothers Fred, David (Marge), Phillip (Mia) and sister-in-law Diane Keresturi.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Elgin Youth Symphony Orchestra https://www.eyso.org/give .
Services will be held at Florida National Veterans Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at a later date.
