Lori Cropely
Preplanning Specialist

Originally from Maine, Lori started working with Pinecrest in 2022. She started helping families pre-plan after her stepdad passed away in 2010. Going through the process of planning his cremation and having it all go wrong prompted her into wanting to make sure others didn't have to go through what her family did.

She finds that helping families make decisions while thoughts are clear is what she is meant to do. Making sure families don't have to go through that process in the middle of crisis is such a gift to give. She may never meet the families of the clients she serves, but she knows they are going to be well cared for.

Before started working in the funeral industry, she mostly worked with children and horses. Lori did foster care for about 10 years and adopted teenagers out of the system. She also worked with Standardbred Racehorses for many years.

Outside of work, Lori loves to travel and spend time with her friends and family. She also enjoys gardening, crafts, and exploring new places. She volunteers and participates in mission trips with her church. Helping others around the world has been life changing for her. Lori still works with her horse Wendal, an Arabian Thoroughbred cross, who she’s had since his first breath. She loves training her Australian Shepards, Chrome and CJ, and watching them love to learn.
